ABSTRACT
In the paper the transition from the
Middle Ages to the Renaissance in Europe is treated from the typological point of view. The nucleus of this process
was the secularization and desemiotisation of
culture. Nevertheless, the culture of the Renaissance developed an original religious world-view, which was called
the philosophy of Christ. The center of it was
not the transcendent nature of God, but the sonhood (filiation) of God.
Key words: Typology of culture, semiotics, the Middle
Ages, the Renaissance, sacrality.
